My name is Matt Hardy and I’m based in South Eastern Ohio on the edge of Appalachia. I love all things tech and outdoors. I’m a proud girl dad to my 11 year old daughter. I’m currently the Technology Director for a small public school, a volunteer firefighter/EMT, and run a Metal Fabrication shop with my father. I believe technology is a great tool but we need to stay grounded sometimes and remember that we don’t actually need it survive.
I love photography. I feel that a a great photo can have more emotion and meaning than any other form of media. I started to appreciate photography back in high school but only started taking it more serious the last 2 years. During the shutdown I was fortunate enough to work from home and had plenty of free time to practice and really getting to know my camera.
Another form of technology I’ve recently learned to love is Minecraft. My daughter is the one who discovered it and got me hooked. I’ll be the first to admit I laughed it off as silly game until I actually sat down to try it. Now I’m hooked! The science behind it fascinates me and I find the building aspect of it relaxing.
This site is simply a way for me to express and the things I like with the online community.
